History
Fusion Church was started with young adults as its focus. The vision to reach those from 18 to 30 years of age with the good news of Jesus and not religion is our priority. Fusion began meeting with a core group of four people in March 2006 in the living room of the pastor. Three months later the core group had grown to eight. On the first Sunday in June 2006 twenty people met in a building that had been vacant for eight years. The work to renovate the building was begun and a vision to establish a facility that would be appealing to young adults was given.
The renovation would take almost nine months and on Easter Sunday 2007, Fusion Church was officially launched. Though the renovation took longer than what we had hoped, the end result has been one that caught the attention of all who entered.
In August of 2009, we moved in to our present location in Curt’s Mall. When a person first enters the building the coffee shop atmosphere sets a welcoming and relaxing mood. Free coffee, cappuccinos, lattes, fresh baked cookies and veggies with bar tables and chairs make fellowship desirable.
The worship center is not typical and presents more of a casual setting. A high tech sound-booth makes the worship experience very nice with an overhead projection system complimenting the experience. The music is an assortment of styles with total focus on worshipping our Lord Jesus.
Fusion is a place where followers of Jesus of all ages can use their God-given talents and spiritual gifts to love and experience God!
